I purchased this book for my 11 year old son who plays division 1 AAU basketball and this book was exactly what he needed. This book not only reiterates many things I have told my son for years but it covers vital information that not only relates to basketball but to life in general. It covers skill, respect, morals, responsibility, effort and dedication. It explains the things that most coaches assume that skilled players already know. The explanations in this book are clear and basic but are vital to success. My son knew most of the things in this book but know has an in-depth knowledge understands WHY he does the things he does. Its motivating, inspiring, accurate and precise. Every basketball player at ANY age should read this book you will gain something out of it! Im impressed! Mr. Pluff has done a great job with this book. I would highly recommend it to all young players wanting to take their games to the next level.
We bought this book on basketball for our 13 year old nephew who loves basketball. It was a hit, which can be difficult when making a purchase for a 13 year old, but he loved it and so did we!

It was well written, but I thought it was uninspiring and somewhat basic.
This book along with the videos online are terrific learning tools for anyone wishing to learn the basics. Great starting place. I gave it as a gift to my grandson for Christmas.
