Running Towards the Light Postcards from Alaska The Postman Book 2 eBook Nathan Millward

Having ridden from Sydney to London on a 105cc Australian Post bike named Dorothy, this is the story of the subsequent trip across America and up to Alaska. Camping wild, taking the back roads and doing it on a shoestring, this is a story about getting back on the bike and going riding again...
Running Towards the Light Postcards from Alaska The Postman Book 2 eBook Nathan Millward
Running Towards the Light is a genuine, thoughtful, and observant perspective on travelling through America, and paints an honest, cathartic tale of the difficulty of putting one's life back together when it feels as though it's all fallen apart. Anyone who reads this and doesn't feel the urge to jump on Craigslist and buy an old Honda trail bike with designs on chasing the horizon (albeit at a rather relaxed pace) is either fully content with their lot in life, or, like me, already has, and is too busy out in their shed working on it to leave a review.(I took a break from that this evening.)
All in all, an excellent, inspiring, and satisfying read, and a very bad influence on anyone who has been trying to quench their sense of adventure for far too long.

Running Towards the Light Postcards from Alaska The Postman Book 2 eBook Nathan Millward Reviews
A little heavy on the self flagellation. Pertinent observations, though. Was a worthwhile read.
This book tells of Nathan's travels and deals with people, life and personal sanity. Nathan's writing and comments remind me of the classic Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
Good read!
Enjoyed this second part of Nathan's journey. Well worth the read, especially for those who might be interested in riding through the US.
It would have been nice if the kindle version would include photo's of this great adventure. That knocked it down a star.
I read this immediately after enjoying the writers previous book where he rode Dorothy from Australia to UK. Enjoyed it in perhaps a different way as I had been to some of the U.S. Areas albeit in a fuel gobbling Ford V8. Well worth the read. Thanks.
What a delight to load part 2 of the epic adventures of Dot the Postie bike and Nathan the nut job. Not only is his adventures worthy of motorcycling hall of fame, but to also do battle in his own mind, in a strange land and write a book about it. Truly amazing and what a great story to share with his kids and grand kids one day.
